I have been wanting a new phone case for a while now, so Monday I started searching around for places to order online. Having never ordered a phone case from online I was a little sceptical and worried.
I found www.casecompany.world and thought I would give them a try. I paid £15 and the delivery was free!It arrived a couple days after the order.
I chose the design from their website and I put the text 'WritingMyHeart' on. I wanted something writerly whilst also paying homage to my blog.
I am in love with it, it's slick and feels great on my phone. Definitely worth the money! I will definitely be ordering more in the upcoming future. I highly recommend Case Company, you can never have too many phone cases. They are fun and I just like to jazz up my phone a little, I may go a little more adventurous next time.
This isn't sponsored, but I am just so very pleased with my new phone case I just had to share it with you!

New Phone Case

This isn't really a creative piece just a little post about the new app Pokemon Go. Firstly, let's begin with that I am practically obsessed with it. I played the Gameboy Games growing up, and I even followed them onto the DS and 3DS etc. This app is everything a Pokemon fan would adore, it's not only bringing back those precious childhood memories, it allows you explore your city and go searching in reality for all your favourite Pokemon, it also allows you to use and share the Pokemon knowledge you gained as a child, like finally something you can use that information for and look like a bad ass for doing so. I love the fact the weather, time and place effects the Pokemon around you, it is amazing. I find myself going on little walks just to reach the distances for my eggs to hatch, which is obviously good for my Pokedex but my health as well. It gives me a chance to geek out a little when my friend asks what Pokemon does the shadow belong to and I can reply instantly without a second thought. Since the release of this app, I think I have been seeing my friends and even some family members more due to our need to go out catching more Pokemon, finally something all my friends are practically involved in, thank god for Pokemon Go!  It is definitely a huge advance in the gaming industry, no doubt there will be more gaming companies jumping onto the virtual reality bandwagon!

- My favourite catch so far is a Growlithe in my living room, yes I am incredibly lucky!

Pokemon Go

Yesterday I dropped my phone... down the toilet. It's not working which is kind of annoying, I have lost a lot of my things and my weekly favourites cannot be posted this week since everything is now gone. I am sorry about that. It's weird though because I've actually had to listen to the world (I usually listen to my music through my earphones most of the time) and it made me realize two things 1) Other people have really interesting lives (we all ease drop on buses get over it!) and 2) I depend on my phone way too much. Every other minute I wanted to check it, I felt left out (unable to contact my friends) it was weird I felt like a part of me is/was missing. Which is insane I know, what has life come to when a person thinks so much of a piece of metal wiring thing in a shape of a brick so much? When did I become so addicted to social media and being in the loop. I missed snapchat, sharing stupid things and using crazy filters. I am back online though kind of, I still have my laptop for my blog which is always amazing, I'm using a tablet until my phone situation changes.
Just a little FYI post this has been, a little eye opener for two reasons 1) Technology is addictive 2) Don't use your phone in the toilets, even if it's in your open pocket (mine fell out that way).

Bye Phone

Saturday 23 April 2016

It seems I already forgot to keep up the weekly college guide, but worry not it shall return!

1) Comfort? Comfort. I cannot stress this enough, please where something comfortable it is for your benefit because trust me you don't want to be hoisting up your leggings ever five minutes, or fiddling on with some complicated piece of clothing. I suggest comfort because in college you will be moving around a lot (a bummer I know) but since you are being so active then why not be comfortable while you do so? I'm completely looking out for your best interest here.

2) Fully charged phone. This may sound obvious but I'd have you know that the other day I woke up to an almost dead phone, it seems I either forgot to plug it on or the charger somehow disconnected, I'm going with the latter. I know phone's are the mean source of procrastination however in college they are good for other stuff; like if you're laptop is dead, or you cannot access a computer you can always use your phone. Plus you never know when you need to get in touch with someone, like email a teacher work or whatever.

3) Smile! Yes smile, whilst you are working your butt off it is all the same important to just smile take a breather and let the beautiful day consume you. This also applies to not working yourself too much, yes studying is important but so is your sanity!

4) High lighters and gel pens? A must. These little sticks of colour are definitely a must for your pencil case. Not only does it add to your previous bought pens but they are actually useful when you are doing your a levels. I am constantly high lighting things, taking notes, annotating things and trust me these bursts of colours all of my pages are helping me to do so, plus it looks pretty and not boring. This is coming from someone who hated high lighters throughout her high school years.

5) A day off? Email in. In the unfortunate event of you being ill (or simply skiving) you should definitely get in touch with your subject teachers, to let them know and also so they can email you the work you will be missing, as falling behind is definitely a no go!

That's all I have got for you with the college guide this week, I've been WritingMyHeart and you've been wonderful!
