Sharing a little update on the books I have read so far this year!

I am still sticking to not having a goal for how many books I have to read. I thought you might appreciate a little update on the books I have been reading. I haven't had a lot of time to read but I am happy I have been able to do some!

  • I would leave me if I could - Halsey
  • Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - JK Rowling
  • Beneath the Waters  - Juliet Llewellyn
  • Next Exit Home - Dena Blake
  • Jack of Hearts - Lev A.C Rosen
  • The Green Mile - Stephen King
  • Persuasion - Jane Austen
  • The Great Gatsby - F.Scott Fitzgerald
  • The Seven Types of Spirit Guide - Yamile Yemoonyah

I am happy with how diverse my reading has been this year, delving into new genres as well as visiting old favourites.

I am currently reading Angela Carter's Book of Fairy Tales, and I am loving it so much. Every night I delve into a different short story, and it's simply divine. I read when I can, I think if I tried to force myself to read more I will end up with burnout and stop reading for a while and that is the last thing I want. I have just recently purchased some new books on my kindle:
  • Red, White & Royal Blue - Casey McQuiston
  • Period -Emma Barnett
  • A Witch in Time - Constance Sayers
That should keep me busy for the next couple of weeks! If not I have just ordered two books online which should come next week:
  • Coraline - Neil Gaiman
  • In The Deep End - Kate Davies

I think from the list the book that I enjoyed reading most was Next Exit Home, it was such a lovely read! I am on the search for more lesbian romance novels, if you have any recommendations please let me know.

I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

  1. What an honor that you list my book along with Jane Austen, Stephen King, JK Rowling, and F. Scott Fitzgerald! My favorite of all is definitely Neil Gaiman :)

    1. Thank you for your comment, you have made my day! Thank you for writing and sharing The Seven Types of Spirit Guide! It has helped me so much spritiually and has given me a lot of a guidance. I often go back to it when I am feeling misguided. Thank you!
