Tesla coil of a heart,
vibing off metal bodies
each zap-
my feelings become attached
only they bounce back-
to me-
each time shocking me a little more.
The density of my feelings
hollowing in my chest
too much for me
too much for them.
they leave my body
scorching my surroundings-
it leaves behind ashes
of what used to be
what could have been
but will never be.
Tesla in the middle of the room
Tesla being me
And the room being you
Hiding hoping avoiding
